Brew and Review: Key Takeaways from Coffee with the ED

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent Coffee with the ED. We appreciate your engagement and thoughtful questions. Below are some key updates and follow-ups from our discussion:

Bolivar Gate now operates with Brivo

The Bolivar Gate is now integrated with the Brivo app! Residents can now use their Brivo app to allow guests access through the Bolivar Gate. Please note that you only need to be connected to a wireless or Wi-Fi connection for this feature to work. You can find step-by-step instructions here. Follow these simple steps to use your Brivo app to grant access through the Bolivar Villas Gate:

  1. Open the Brivo App
    • Launch the Brivo Mobile Pass app on your smartphone.
    • Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or a wireless data connection for proper functionality.
  2. Select All Sites at the bottom of the main screen
    • In the app, locate the All Sites and select.
    • Tap the VIllas Gate icon.
  3. Tap Inbound Gate
    • Once selected, tap the Inbound Gate button to open the gate.
    • The gate should respond within a few seconds.
  4. Confirm Entry
    • If your guest is waiting, confirm that the gate has opened successfully.
Reclaimed Water Usage

There was a question regarding whether reclaimed water use is restricted during drought conditions like city water. The answer is no; however, our landscape partner controls the programming of the reclaimed water irrigation system. We also coordinate closely with the golf course to ensure watering occurs at appropriate times to maintain adequate water pressure, as the golf course also relies on reclaimed water.

Facility Rental Policy Update

The new facility rental policy is still under review. We will provide further information as soon as it becomes available.

Fitness Center Etiquette

As a reminder, during peak times or when others are waiting, we ask that residents limit their use of cardio equipment to 30 minutes. This ensures all residents have an opportunity to enjoy the equipment. New signage will be placed stating this guideline.

Preventative Maintenance Program

Our Assets team is actively completing preventative maintenance and developing comprehensive maintenance schedules for all community assets. It was suggested that we share the cost savings this initiative provides. Moving forward, Jaime Godoy will provide a quarterly report in the monthly newsletter to highlight the financial benefits of bringing this initiative in-house.

We value your participation and continued support in making Kissing Tree a thriving community. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
