Brew & Review: Key Takeaways from Coffee with the ED

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the latest Coffee with the Executive Director. Below are a few key updates discussed:

Construction Site Safety

Please remember that active construction sites are private property and can be hazardous. For your safety, trespassing is not permitted, and all building materials belong to the builder and should not be removed or used without permission.

If you observe any safety concerns or unauthorized access, please report it to Community Security. Thank you for helping keep our community safe and respectful.

Pool & Hot tub maintenance

All pools and the hot tub are scheduled for closure on Wednesday, May 13, for comprehensive tile cleaning. We appreciate your patience as we complete this important maintenance.

Landscape Concerns

Common area landscaping issues brought up during the meeting are currently being reviewed and evaluated for follow-up care and maintenance.

Fairways Landscape Parking

To minimize disruption, the landscape team has been asked to park near the dog park while working in the Fairways neighborhood. While we’ll do our best to limit time in fire lanes and in front of homes, some temporary street parking may still be necessary.

McCarty Gate Repair

A replacement part for the McCarty gate arm has been ordered. Repairs will be completed as soon as the part arrives.

FedEx & UPS

We’ve received a few questions about how delivery drivers like FedEx and UPS enter the community. Here’s a quick overview of the current process:

FedEx and UPS drivers do not have community access tags. They approach the guardhouse and are typically allowed through the resident lane to complete their deliveries. Because they deliver to multiple addresses throughout the day, they are not signed in individually, as there is no efficient way to manage that process for high-volume carriers.

Like all other visitors without tags, they should not be entering through other access points. If they do, it’s generally due to open construction gates or tailgating, both of which are actively monitored

Tree maintenance

Over the next few weeks, you may notice limb overhang trimming taking place along the cart path behind T&B and the pickleball courts. These areas were assessed earlier today, and the work will focus on addressing the most immediate concerns.

Broader tree trimming efforts will resume in July, once the risk of Oak Wilt has passed. At that time, trimming will continue on a prioritized basis, guided by both safety considerations and available budget. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain a safe and beautiful community.
